Slowing down in times of crisis is challenging yet essential. I recommend the great body of work of Rev. Barbara A. Holmes, who is now guiding us from the Communion of Saints, and of Bayo Akomolafe and Ta-Nahesi Coates, who I pray will be here to guide and inspire us for many decades to come.

Podcast from an Irish Canadian
I am a retired academic Hematologist/Oncologist, an evidence-based clinical researcher, and an avid reader. I am also an older, widowed breast cancer survivor. I have wished to share stories and knowledge with my younger son and his friends for years. I love children, young people and our planet, and I am sickened by the spectre of totalitarian governance by AI, bots and robots. I am not a fan of dystopian narratives and science fiction. I am a fan of many human activities, nature and science .
